Flowers left for Alfred Thompson
THE DEATH OF ALFRED E THOMPSON
Alfred Earl Thompson died yesterday morning at 10 o’clock at the family residence, 1007 Joseph Street, from congestion of the brain. The deceased was born January 1, 1902, and his father died seven years ago. He was a bright and manly boy and was poplar with all who knew him. Alfred was a grandson of Mr and Mrs Perry M Thomson of Crane, and of Mr and Mrs Joseph Culley of this city. Besides the mother, two brothers and one sister survive. The mother has the sympathy of the entire community in her bereavement. The funeral will be conducted at 9 o’clock Monday morning from St Ann’s church and the interment will be made in Sporing Grove Cemetery. ( Lafayette Morning Journal, Saturday, April, 19109)
