Flowers left for Fred Rogers
Mr. Rogers, I cannot emphasize enough what an infinitely sweet man you are. You made my childhood or my little girl years infinitely sweet and lovely. You were a surrogate grandfather to me. Every morning when I watched you when I was a little girl and saw you walk in the door and sing your beautiful song, my eyes and my heart would light up with so much joy. Even today as a young woman it's the same lovely thing, it will always be that way forever. I loved listening to your wonderful stories about growing up, and learning how to care for family, friends and animals, and taking tours with you in the crayon factory and so many other lovely things about childhood and growing up to be a beautiful person. You are so comforting and loving, whenever I felt sad you always lifted my heart and soul again and especially made me feel so loved. At the end of the day or at the end of your show I always cried that you were leaving, it was like saying goodbye to grandpa after a lovely visit, but those tears quickly turned into a smile again as soon as you said "but I'll be back when the day is new and I'll have more ideas for you." I love you Mr. Rogers or "grandpa", rest in heavenly peace and I definitely that know you are. I miss you and love you with all my heart and soul forever. God bless your lovely heart and soul forever and for all eternity.
- Kathy
