E. Bancroft and Whereas in the loss of this true and noble friend and loyal citizen, pure man in life and conduct, devout, sweet spirited brother, thefraternity has lost one of its most consecrated members. That we, the members of Oak Hill Lodge No. 553, Currie Lodge 302, Morning Star Lodge No. 530 F & A M hereby express our hearfeltsorrow over the death of our beloved brother and extend to his loved ones and friends our deepest sympathy and condolence. We who know him best loved him most, and competent witnessesof the events in his useful career, we feel confident that he welcomedthe grim tyrant death and received as a kind messenger sent to translate him to the Celestial Lodge above. As we drop the tears of sorrow for our departed brother, whose lifework is all done, let us plant the acacia of hope with confidence that his body will be raised and become as incorruptible as his soul. Resolved that a copy of these resolutions be presented to thefamily of our deceased brother, and a copy spread on the minutes ofOak Hill Lodge. Fraternally submitted. W. A. Wells, C. N.
