Flowers left for Talmadge Dark
DeWitt Dark, 67, native of the Gaars Mill community, and businessman of Cleveland, Texas, died of a heart attack Friday, December 7, at his home in Cleveland. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Dark of Gaars Mill. Last rites were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church of Cleveland, of which he was a member, with burial in a Cleveland cemetery. Mr. Dark is survived by his wife, the former Alabelle Luzader of Winnfield, now of Cleveland; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Shaw, Cleveland, and Mrs. Beverly Soley of Baltimore, Maryland; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Sanders of Readhimer, Mrs. D. E. Sikes and Mrs. R. A. Clewis of Winnfield; five brothers, Z. T. and Lynwood Dark of Gaars Mill, Woodrow of Jonesboro, Shelby of Rayville, and Ross of Columbia; and six grandchildren.(Published in The Winn Parish Enterprise News-American (Winnfield, LA), December 13, 1962)
