Born in Hillsprings, Alberta, Canada, Erma Lucile Vickery Hunter, 88, completed her earthly life in Salt Lake City, Utah. The daughter of George Arthur and Mary Woodruff Vickery, she moved to Letha, Idaho with her family as a child. She married Heman Floyd Hunter September 14, 1929. After the death of her husband, she moved to Salt Lake to rearing her family.A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the Sandy Utah Senior Center, she enjoyed quilting and crocheting for members and others as a hobby. Brothers: Donald (Bertie) Vickery, Lawrence (Dorothy) Vickery; sister: Pearl Meacham; children: Emma (Guy) Glasgow, Amy Woodruff, Heman Floyd (Laura) Hunter Jr., Barbara (Steve) James, Delores (Ron) Cooper, Pearl (Bob) Kitchen, Ruby (Dee Ray) Mecham, Opal (Tom) Troop, Art (Judy) Hunter; fifty grandchildren; over one hundred great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren survive. Her husband, five daughters: Mary Russell, Betty Aragon and three infant daughters; two sons-in-law, two grandchildren and one great grandchild predeceased Erma.
