Alamo Defender. He immigrated to Texas and held occupations as a blacksmith, plasterer, and mason. On October 26, 1835, he registered for a league of land on Harmon's Creek in Joseph Vehlein's colony. He took part in the siege of Bexar, later served in the Alamo garrison as a member of Captain Robert White's infantry company, the Bexar Guards and died in the battle of the Alamo.
