Mrs. Solomon was a member of Zion Union Baptist Church and a former member of Free Union Baptist Church in Stony Point, VA. She worked for seventeen years at the University of Virginia Hospital and retired from there in 1979.
Aunt Mildred was a great cook and very creative in her home decor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Solomon.
She is survived by her children Earline, William, Ruddell, Joseph Jr., and James. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
