Zayer was adopted from Heartland Humane Society in 2002. His name was Kay but somehow Kay did not sound like a boy cat name so I changed it to Zayer. His breed is a Scottish Fold.
Zayer's hips were attached differently than those of a normal cat so when he ran he hopped like a rabbit, he was a slow walker, slow eater and the absolute boss of the other cat, what a good buddy he was.
The Oregon State University VetMed school assisted Zayer on his way to Kitty Heaven and a couple of days later I received a plaque with his paw prints and with "Good Kitty Zayer" on it....what a memory.
