Sir,It is only natural that some of the trainees should surpass the trainer. You were a fine training officer.

Thank you for your service to our country and May GOD bless you.The movie about your unit should not have included unproven allegations concerning your conduct AND should not have included the naked girl scenes as it was very unnecessary. I am glad the truth has finally been told and Hollywood should be ashamed of itself but we know that will never happen. I think it very ironic and sad that a Jewish producer would attempt to make false allegations about a Jewish soldier that makes the soldier look bad. Thank you again for your service to our country and for the sacrifices that you mad because of it.

Dry all tears as you promised, Dear Lord, for this brave man, for the 6 million of his kin who were murdered, and for their children like myself who survived because of what he and others were willing to sacrifice.

I understand why you sought perfection from your men: it was your job to train men to save their country and keep themselves alive, and you did exceptionally well. I wish you hadn't've carried so harsh of perfection so heavily upon yourself: very few people could be all things to everyone, but you tried...especially on yourself when you were reassigned. There was no shame, you simply didn't have all the tools to be everything, and I doubt anyone does. I wish you didn't do to yourself what you did, things would've come around and I think you would've come to understand and appreciate what you did do for your men...and your country. You could've had a very rich life, but you served, trained and did something...and that's more than enough. I hope you finally found peace, Sir. Thank you for what you gave to your country, your family, to life. You will not be forgotten.

God bless you for your service, Mr. Sobel. I know you were portrayed badly on Band of Brothers but if it weren't for your tough training, the outcome of WW2 in Europe would've been different. RIP.
