Actor. He was the cousin of actor Robert Redford, who helped him get his Screen Actors Guild Card. He made his feature movie debut in "Hot Summer in Barefoot County" (1974). His other film credits include "The Brass Ring" (1975), "All the President's Men" (1976), "Songwriter" (1984), "Frame Up" (1991), and "Frame Up II" (1994). He had his biggest success on the small screen with his roles as Lieutenant Don French on the series "Black Sheep Squadron," Lieutenant Mac McReynolds on the series "Magnum PI," and Big Bud Roberts on the series "Jag." He also appeared as a regular on "Battlestar Galactica," "The Greatest American Hero," "Airwolf," "The Transformers," and "Tales of the Gold Monkey." He died at age 59 from liver failure.
