Thomas E. Cummings, of Donna Lynn Dr., died suddenly Monday, September 18, 2006 at his residence. Born in NYC, he lived in the New York City area before moving to the Capital Region. Thomas retired in 2006 after 37 years as a associate administrative analyst for the New York State Department of Mental Retardation in Albany. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas P. and Mary V. (Rich) Cummings. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Pat Kirby of Oceanside, L.I. and Frances J. Dileo of Island Park, L.I.; one brother, Peter Cummings of Rockville Center, N.Y. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and nephews. Services will be private cremation.
