Canadian Folk Figure. He was the father of the famous Dionne Quintuplets who were born on May 28, 1934. Besides the five Quints, he and his wife had 8 other children. They included, Ernest, Pauline, Rose, Therese, Daniel, Claude, Victor and Oliva Jr. Despite the many hardships that followed, he and his wife were married 54 years.
