He was the son of Donald B. Fogle and Wilhemena Brickle Fogle. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Gray Fogle; two daughters, Patricia R. Hill of North and Betty K. Mills of Irmo; three sons, Walter B. Fogle, Jr., Jakie Fogle and Donny Fogle, all of Orangeburg; three brothers, Elbert Fogle and Hansel Fogle, both of Cope, and Woodrow Fogle of Spartanburg; two sisters, Ada M. Felder of St. George and Margaret Odom of Orangeburg; sixgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
