Survivors include his wife, Sarah Stokes; 2 sons, Derek Chaney age 6 and David Chaney age 1; his mother, Marcella Smisor; 4 siblings, Trisha, Robert, Kayla and Shania.
Darren was a man know by many and loved by all. A wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and nephew.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November, 1 at 2:00 pm at Crossroads Community Church, B Street, Yuba City, with Pastor Jim Clark officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Holycross Memorial Services.
