Duane was intelligent, generous, creative, fun-loving, and adventurous. Everything he did, he did well and with great flair.
He had many and varied interests - camping, world travel on a shoe string, and gourmet cooking, among others.
Duane always had time for his friends. He was equally a friend to pass the time with and a shoulder to cry on. His great empathy was noted by those he came in contact with.
Although his life was cut short, he lived more fabulous adventures in that time than many who live to grow old.
Died at age 43 of suicide after a many years long struggle with bipolar disorder.

He was it, he was really hot sh!t
He was tripping, he was ripped and
He was high on life
It was a gas, oh we just laughed
This boy could not shut up
He was it, he was really hot sh!t
He was tripping, he was drifting
He was high on life
He was really nice.
