IN PRECIOUS MEMORY OF LUISA

Luisa D'Alessandri, the three and a half year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank D'Alessandri of 1014 East Front Street, died last evening in the Monroe Hospital of burns received Wednesday afternoon. The child fell into a tub of boiling water standing on the kitchen floor. The water was to be used to wash clothing. Mrs. D'Alessandri left the child playing in the garden when she went upstairs. Luisa unlocked the screen door and entered the house. As she came into the kitchen, she slipped and fell backward into the tub of hot water. The mother heard her cries and rushed downstairs and pulled her from the tub. She was taken to the Monroe Hospital, where her death occurred at 5:30 last evening. Besides her parents, she leaves one brother, John, 20 years old, three sisters, Dada (Ada), aged 16 years, Valenzo, aged 14 years, and Lelia, aged 7 years. The body has been removed to the Allore and Beam mortuary and from there will be taken to the home on East Front Street this afternoon. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Saturday morning at 9:30, with the Rev. Fr. D. E. Perrin officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Obituary from Monroe Evening News: Dated, July 19, 1935. Her name also found as Louisa.
