June 17, 1927-Jan. 9, 2004 Willis "Bill" R. Evans, 76, of Spring Valley died Jan. 9. He was born in Deer River, Minn., and was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local 36. He served in the Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; daughters, Ella Bates of Lakeside and Yolanda Boys of Spring Valley; sons, Roy of Spring Valley, Robert of Lakeside, Carl of Santee, Ronald of Lemon Grove and Donald of Pine Valley; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services: 9 a.m. Friday, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma.
Donations: San Diego Hospice, 4311 Third Ave., San Diego, CA 92103.
Arrangements: National Cremation Service.
