CUIKSA, Albert, 86, of Fairpoint, Ohio, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born July 11, 1923, in Fairpoint, a son of the late John Cuiksa and Mary Ziek Cuiksa.

He was a retired employee of Bannock Coal and a member of Maynard PNA Lodge 455.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Sikora Lippian Cuiksa; a stepdaughter, Rose Mary Tansik; four sisters and five brothers.

Surviving are his wife, G. Vivian Hughes Tyrell Talarovich Cuiksa; seven stepchildren, Charlene Wright of Kansas, Walter Lippian of Florida, John Lippian of Cleveland, Brenda (Mike) Ross of Pasadena, Md., Janet (Joe) Gray of Maynard, Robert "Butch" Tyrell and Randy (Terri) Tyrell of Flushing; many stepgrandchildren and step great- grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. with the Rev. David Powell officiating. A private committal will be held at the convenience of the family.
