Margaret Dorothy was born to Andrew and Jane Konitzer who had 16 children. On July 4, 1936, she married Walter Ostrenga. Following their marriage, they lived in Milwaukee for 36 years until they retired to Kelly Lake near Suring, Wisconsin in 1972 where they owned and operated Wally's Sunset Cottages.

Margaret was a very loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, in particular to her special needs son, Jimmy, for the 27 years of his life. Survivors are her husband of 60 years, Walter, daughters Jane, Marilyn, Judith and Peggy.

Margaret went to Jesus on December 9, 1996 following a one year illness with Lou Gerig's disease.
