Joseph H. Heberling, retired track foreman of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. D. J. Beck, near Warriors Mark, on Sunday morning at 11 o'clock following an extended illness with a complication of diseases.
He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. H. G. Ebbs (Anna), Buffalo Run; Mrs. D.J. Beck (Sarah), Warriors Mark; Mrs. E. T. Bechdel, Blanchard (Maude); Mrs. E. W. Mays (Nancy), Huntingdon; 22 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren; one brother T. B. Heberling, Tyrone; and two sisters: Mrs. Anna Gates and Miss Emma Heberling, of Warriors Mark.
Mr. Heberling was a member of the Columbia Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church, Tyrone. Funeral Services were held at the Beck home near Warriors Mark yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Samuel W. Strain, pastor of the Columbia Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church, Tyrone. Burial was made in Ross Cemetery, Marengo.
Their daughter Eva Elizabeth who died of Typhoid fever had passed before them and reposes next to them now in the Ross cemetery.
