LOGAN, Utah - Kenneth Wade Carver,39, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Sunshine Terrace following a courageous struggle with Huntington's disease. He was born June 19, 1962, in Soda Springs, Idaho, to Denton J. and Carma Peterson Carver. He married Ronda Lee Nance on Jan. 2, 1981. They were divorced in 1983, then remarried in 1984, followed by a second divorce in 1987.

Ken was always on the go and enjoyed working and playing hard. His special gift was a knack for handling motorized vehicles. He had several motorcycles that filled his need for thrills. Adventures on these with his brothers have provided the family with many hair-raising reminiscence sessions. His skill for handling trucks was put to good use as he drove for Anderson Lumber in Grace, Idaho, and also as a home delivery milk man. He also worked briefly on oil rigs in Wyoming.

As his health deteriorated he expended much of his energy walking around Logan and nearby areas. He was shown so many kindnesses by people that will forever remain unidentified to his family. His life also was blessed by several local health care services. May we express at this time our heartfelt appreciation to them for their compassion. Especially will we be eternally grateful for the dedicated care and concern of all the staff at Sunshine Terrace for making the last four years so comfortable and positive.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Wade, and his mother, of Logan; sisters, Dorothy (Michael) Parker of Sarasota, Fla., Susan (Glen) Morris of Inkom, Idaho, Kathy (Marvin) Pitcher of Grace, Idaho; and brothers, Clifford (Cheryl) Carver of Layton, Utah, Ronn (Leanne) Carver of Logan; and a wonderful assortment of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; his son, Brandon; a sister, Diane Swanson; and a brother, Dean. He will buried in the Grace Cemetery next to Dean and Diane.

The viewing will be at the Allen-Cranney Mortuary in Logan at 420 E. 1800 North, on Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the mortuary on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. with viewing from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Grace, Idaho, cemetery.
