Linda was my best friend and she left us much to soon. I often wonder what her life would have been like if she were still here. I know mine would have been blessed by having her be a part of mine everyday, in every way. I have celebrated a lot of Thanksgivings, Christmases, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and other life events and I wish she could have been part of them and shared them with me.

Linda's parents were Michael Di Lernia and Geraldine "Geri" Koestler. She also had two brothers, Michael and Nicholas.

I met Linda on September 8, 1967, my first day working at New Jersey Bell. I was sitting in the employee lounge and she came up to me and asked "Are you a new employee?" I answered "Yes, how did you know?" She laughed and said "You have that new employee look, had it myself 3 weeks ago." Linda showed me around and we quickly became great friends. We went many places together, New Jersey Bell often had group trips to New York City (Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, plays on and off Broadway, dinner events, etc). We shared countless laughs as our friendship deepened. I nicknamed her "Dilly" because it seemed to fit her--she such a warm and fun person.
