My Sister

Fred (Jerry) King and Liddie were brother and sister.

A friend of the family tells of when she was a teenager, Liddie Anderson, was her Sunday School teacher, she had cancer and was dying. She got up in church one Sunday morning and told all the young people there that they should make sure to turn their lives over to God.

Liddie could barely stand but she pleaded with everyone to make sure they were right with God and that the young folks should give Him control over their lives. She was so weak she couldn't walk. Brother Jerry walked up there, scooped her up in his big strong arms and he carried her. Jerry fought back the tears the whole time. He was a big BIG man, with a heart to match. So gentle and kind. He was a wonderful person!!
