Wounded in 1863. Appointed 2d Sergeant August 1863. Captured at Deep Bottom, Va. August 16,1864. Paroled at Elmira, N. Y. March 14, 1865. Received at Boulware & Cox's Wharves, James River, Va. for exchange, March 21,1865.
