Benjamin Kendall was a Revolutionary War Veteran and also one of the first settlers of what would become Gardner, MA.

Benjamin Kendall signed the original petiton to incorporate Gardner as a town in 1785.

Benjamin Kendall married a woman named Keziah Twichell and together they had eight children. Kendall was known to be not only a farmer but also a cooper as well. Kendall died in 1841 at age of 96.
