Like my father you were killed in action as a member of the 310th Infantry, 78th Infantry Division. You made the ultimate sacrifice in December of 1944 while fighting in the Kesternich-Simmerath Engagement. This nation owes an unpayable debt to you. May God bless you and may you rest in peace.
