151st Pennsylvania Infantry Monument
[Add Flowers]
For lived in Dover PA and fought here on July 1 with this regiment. Wounded and died Jan 1864 at only 29 yrs old. I think of you often and visited the place you were wounded. I visit Gettysburg many times a year

My Great-Great Grandfather Pvt. George Shivery was a member of Co. D of this Regiment. God Bless this brave band of Pennsylvanians and especially the Juniata County Boys of Co. D! Although only 9 month enlistment men they fought like true veterans on July 1st,1863 at Gettysburg!
