Lillian Louise "Lil" Acord, 92, of Sikeston, MO, died Oct. 21, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Oct. 31, 1910, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late Robert "Bob" and Elizabeth Hawes Weaks, she was a member of the First Christian Church in Sikeston and had been a desk clerk at the Sikeston Bowling Alley for 20 years before retiring.
On Dec. 23, 1929, in New Madrid, she married Earnest Alonzo "Bill" Acord, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Billy Eugene "Bill" Acord; and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One brother, Jake Weaks, and three sisters, Flora Crouthers, Florence Westmoreland and Justine Parks, preceded her in death.
Visitation was held at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services were scheduled. The Rev. Allan Schriver, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiated.
Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
