D. Ableman, 65, Dies at Monroe
MONROE - Three weeks after moving here from his farm in Jordan township, D. Ableman, 65, died at his home here Thursday.
Mr. Ableman used the initial "D" throughout his life. He was born Sept. 11, 1873, in Jordan township, the son of Christopher and Emma Ableman. He was married to Hattie Pickett Jan. 11, 1896. Before moving here, the Ablemans lived in Jordan township, Madison and Woodford.
He leaves his wife, two sons, Burr Ableman, Rock Island, Ill., and Ted Ableman, Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Moe, Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Harry of Woodford, and Bert Ableman, Kingston, Ariz.; and two sisters, Mrs. Hiram Pickett and Mrs. John Mason, Woodford. the funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shriner-Neushwander funeral home here, and burial in Greenwood cemetery. The Rev. George Keepin will officiate.
