Eddie Oliver "Bob" Hatchett, 93, of Willisburg, Ky. died at 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, Ky. Son of the late Eddie Berry and Nettie Hoskins Hatchett, he was born in Anderson County, Ky. on May 11, 1917. He moved to Washington County when he married in 1940. He was a farmer and was a member of Willisburg Christian Church, where he served as an elder and Sunday School teacher for many years.

He was married to Eugenia "Bug" Hughes Hatchett for 70 years. She survives. Survivors also include two sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Drecilla of Glasgow, Ky. and Joe and Kathy of Campbellsville; four granddaughters and their spouses, Kimberly and Russ Owens of Lexington, Ky., Jennifer Hatchett of Louisville, Ky., Allison and Chris Priddy of Louisville and Kristen and Chris Roderick of Glasgow; four great-grandchildren, Jerry Douglas Owens, Olivia Owens, Kaleb Mitchell and Kaitlyn Priddy; and four siblings and their spouses, Lucille and Paul Perry, Frances Hatchett, Donnie and Sylvia Hatchett and Willis and Carlotta Hatchett, all of Lawrenceburg, Ky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett, William and Hilry; and a sister, Katherine Samples. Funeral was Saturday, Aug. 14 at Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield, Ky. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Willisburg Christian Church Building Fund or Camp Calvary.
