Mrs. Beecher was born June 11, 1921, in Preston, Idaho. Her maiden name was Cafferty. She moved to Milwaukie in 1943. She was a homemaker and member of the Milwaukie Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Ross R. in 1942; he died in 1978.
Survivors include her son, Ross of Milwaukie; sister, Edna of Milwaukie; and one grandchild.
