Melody Prevost Antonsich (1919-1993), age 72 years, of Ocean Springs died Friday, March 5, 1993 in Biloxi, Mississippi. She was born in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana to Antoine Edward Prevost (1881-1957) and Olympe Prevost (1888-1972).
Mrs. Antonsich lived on the Coast since 1921. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Biloxi. Melody was preceded in death by Joseph Antonsich (1911-1980), her husband; four brothers, Sargis Prevost (1909-1963, Oswald P. Prevost (1912-1993), Paul Wise Prevost (1914-1992), and Falton Prevost (1917-1983); a sister, Pearl P. Stanovich (1906-1991). She was survived by her son, Anthony J. Antonsich (1940-1996); two sisters, Della P. Moore (1908-1994) and Beatrice P. Langlinais (1922-1998); and a host of nieces and nephews who assisted her while she was ill.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9 tonight at the Howard Avenue chapel of the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi, with recitation of the Rosary at 7:30. Services will be Monday at 10: a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with burial in the Southern Memorial Park cemetery.
