Watseka, Ill. - Mary Elizabeth (Curtis) Andrews "Betty", 80, of Watseka, passed Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka, Illinois.
She was born March 29, 1932 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky the daughter of Bernie Raymond Curtis and Elma Susan Strode.
Mrs. Andrews married Robert Green on June 30, 1951 in Onarga, Illinois and later marrying Erwin Andrews on September 1, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mrs. Andrews was a retired business woman, ran L'Cours and later owned Casualtowne and retired from Prospect Bank in November, 2011. She was a member of the Watseka Chamber of Commerce and Elks Lodge. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, going to the "boat" and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Surviving Mrs. Andrews are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Connie Wilson Green of Bloomington, Illinois and Robert and Cindy Green of Bloomington, Illinois; four brothers and sisters-in-law, James Bernie and Donna Curtis of Pontiac, Illinois, Ernie and Norma Curtis of Gilman, Illinois, Keneth and Sandy Curtis of Calvert City, Kentucky, and James "Jim" and Doris Curtis of Rosebud, Missouri; four grandchildren, Chelsi Paige Green, Zachary Paul Green & Autumn Annette Meinders, and Jennifer Maltman; five great grandchildren, Tanner, Chloe, Gabriel & Charlotte Meinders, and Anthony Orr.
She is also preceded in death by, her parents, husband, Erwin E. Andrews, and one niece and nephew.
Visitation for Mrs. Andrews will be on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, Illinois from 4-8 pm.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Andrews will be Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Baier Funeral Home at 11 am with Reverend James Harkins officiating.
Burial to follow the service will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, Illinois.
