Rogersville: Ida Ethel Manis, age 104 passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Signature Health Care after an extended illness. She was a member of East Rogersville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lark Manis; step son, Ralph Manis; parents; George and Rosa Horton Bisihop; brothers, Homer, Arlie and Lee Bishop and two sisters, Maxie Charlton and Millie Mullins; half brothers, G. W., James, Harry and Joe Bishop

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Marie Bishop Trent and husband, Charles of Rogersville; grandchildren, Becky Burchfield and fiance' Mike Mullins of Rogersville, Tina Miracle and husband, Dan of Surgoinsville, Chad Trent of Rogersville, Cindy Wells of Bulls Gap, Mandie Trent of Rogersville; great grandchildren, Christopher Welch of Rogersville, Jeremiah Wells and Shasta Wells both of Bulls Gap, Tessa Miracle and Autumn Miracle both of Surgoinsville and Brittany Burchfield of Rogersville; step grandchildren, Carolyn Manis, Kathy Manis and Ella Mae Manis; step great grandchildren, Johnny Carpenter, Ella Carpenter and Daniel Manis; half sister, Ozella Elderman of TX; As a young boy she help give guidence to Jim H. Manis of Rogersville. A number of nieces and nephews. She will be missed by special friends. Special thank you to the staff of Signature Healh Care of Rogersville.

Calling hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2012 at East Rogersville Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2012 at East Rogersville Baptist Church with Rev. John R. Parrott, Jr. and Rev. Steve Owenby officiating. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
