Obituary - Mary A. Haas Haibach Sr.
"MRS. HAIBACH IS DEAD AT 80
DIES FRIDAY IN HOME FOLLOWING SHORT ILLNESS
Ill for six weeks, Mrs. Mary Haibach, 80, lifelong resident of Erie died early Friday in the family resident, E. 5th st. She was the daughter of the late John and Marie Haas, pioneer settlers here. She was the widow of the late Lorenz Haibach and was widely known throughout the city.
Mrs. Haibach was a member of St. Mary's church and was afflicted with the Rosary Society and the Ladies Catholic Benevolent association, Branch No. 11.
She is survived by the following sons and daughters; Lorenz Haibach, Mrs. E. A. Brucker, Mrs. Elizabeth Rosswog, Mrs. Robert Mayerhofer, Mrs. Henry Schloss, Miss Florence Haibach, all of Erie. John J. Haibach, Los Angelos, Calif., and Mrs. H. D. Meyer, Burns, Ore. She also leaves ten grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: the Rev. Louis Haas, O. S. M., St. Vincent's Archabbey, Latrobe, Pa.; Rev. Bernard Haas, O. S. M., Belmont Abby, Belmont, N.C., Mrs Joseph Eichennlaub, Mrs. Andrew Rechtenwald, Mrs. Frank J. Illig and John B. Haas, all of Erie.
Pending the arrival of a son from California, funeral arrangements will be announced. Burial in Trinity Cemetery

Services at St. Mary's church at 9:00 o'clock. Friends invited to call at any time and to attend the services. Interment in Trinity cemetery. Members of the Rosary society will meet at the church Monday morning at 8:30 for prayers."
