Laura Lasanen, 88, passed away on Sept. 26, 2012. She was born on Oct. 17, 1924. She is mother of Phil Rains and "Nany" and grandmother to Lisa Rains and Phillip Rains.She was a frequent visitor to Blythe.She is survived by her son, Phillip Rains (Nancy); one daughter, Paula Putich (Tim); and three stepdaughters. Laura was preceded in death by her son, Chuck Rains; and parents Lydia and John Lemieux.Funeral services for Laura will be held in Long Beach, Calif. on October 5, 2012.
