He was a member of Park Place Christian Church; Hosington Masonic Lodge NO. 333 AF&AM; Midian Shrine, Knights Templar and Reno County Shrine Club, all of Hutchinson, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: wife, of the home; son, Donald, Hutchinson; mother, Cecile Meckfessel, Larned, sister, Peggy Trilck, Larned; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Masonic graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Larned Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
