Born in Newberg, Mrs. Jackson had lived in Portland for 50 years. She was 73.
Mrs. Jackson was a long-time member of several women's groups, including the Rose City Order of the Easter Star and Daughters of the Nile. She was director of the Ladies Oriental Shrine Chorus.
Survivors include her husband, George; two daughters, Dorothy Gibson of Ridgefield, Wash., and Georgia Bogner of Portland; and three granddaughters.
