Born Sept. 13, 1914, in Dellville, she was a daughter of the late William and Bertha (Sherk) Reed.
A 1933 graduate of Duncannon High School, Mrs. Barrick was formerly employed with the Pennsylvania State Agriculture Department and was a Stanley Home Products dealer and manager for more than 40 years.
She was a member of Dellville United Methodist Church and a former youth leader. She also was a member of the Duncannon High School Alumni Association, a former member of the Rebecca Lodge in New Bloomfield and an avid card player who liked camping and crocheting.
Mrs. Barrick is survived by her husband of 71 years, Raymond M. Barrick; three sons, Raymond "Dutch" E. Barrick, Ronald M. Barrick and Robert L. Barrick, all of Duncannon; two daughters, Alma Y. Metzger and Bonnie M. Kreiger, both of Duncannon; three sisters, Hester Shaffer of Mt. Pleasant Mills, and Erma Knuth and Alma Finkenbinder, both of Duncannon; 10 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, eight sisters and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dellville United Methodist Church, Dellville Road, Duncannon, with the Rev. Robert Stump and the Rev. Martin Trostle officiating. Burial will be in Dellville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in the church.
