A dispatch was received by Mr. H. Labon from Denver, day before yesterday, announcing that his sister-in-law, Mrs. Frankie Bateman, formerly Miss Sarah Letcher, shot herself in the breast on that day. Yesterday another dispatch was received from the physician in charge that she died at 3:30 yesterday afternoon. The deceased was well-known and highly respected here. Her relations in this place believe that family difficulties led to the rash act.
