Eldwin Eugene "Boots" Bush
Eldwin Eugene "Boots" Bush, 74, of Rayville, died at 12:02 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond. Eldwin was born March 22, 1934, in Ray County, the son of Sidney Carl and Ruth (Adams) Bush. He married Delorise L. Belt of Richmond, July 24, 1954; she survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Garry Bush and his wife, Carolyn, of Richmond, Brian Bush and his wife, Kim, of Rayville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley O'Dell and her husband, Jack, Susan Duffett and her husband, Duane, Mindy Rooney and her husband, Patrick, all of Richmond; one brother, Norman Bush of Alvin, Texas; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond Rural Fire Association.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 21, at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunny Slope Cemetery in Richmond.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
