FT. HANCOCK - Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Edith M. Safford, wife of Brigadier General Robert H. Safford, in the Old Cadet Chapel, U. S. Military Academy, West Point, New York at 11 a.m., followed by internment in the Post Cemetery. Gen. Safford was a graduate of the army academy at West Point.
Mrs. Safford died in the Patterson Army Hospital at Ft. Monmouth. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter Loriel Bieri, two sons, Sgt. Charles R. Safford, overseas, and Lawrence F. Safford; her mother, Mrs. Florence M. Muller, Englewood, and two grandchildren.
The William F. Hogan Funeral Home, Highlands Falls, New York, is in charge of arrangements.
