Oletta Faye Sublett Bennett, age 78 years, of 104 Regency Court, Campbellsville, KY formerly of Coburg, KY passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Chester and Eula Bault Sublett, born in Coburg, KY on Sept. 19, 1928. She was married to Paul Bennett in July 1951, who preceded her in death in Dec. 2002. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Herman Sublett and Winfrey 'Dick' Sublett. She was a member of Cane Valley Christian Church and was retired from Ford Motor Company in Louisville, KY.

She is survived by two sisters & brother-in-law Mae and Leroy Knifley of Campbellsville, KY and Iva and the late Lee Brown of Corbin, KY, three brothers and sisters-in-laws Jim and June Sublett of Chicago, IL, Adrian and Ruby Sublett of Louisville, KY and Roger and Geri Sublett of Campbellsville, KY; three devoted sisters-in-law: Laveda Taylor, Lois Banks and Jeanette Page all of Columbia, KY. Nine nephews, eight nieces plus a host of friends and relatives also survive.

Funeral service will be held today, Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 at 11:00 A. M. CST at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton & Bro. Ivan Tucker officiating. Interment in Cane Valley Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be in the form of a donation to Hospice or to the Cane Valley Christian Church and may be made at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Randall Banks, Joseph Page, Kenneth Taylor, Wes Sublett, Lyle Knifley, and Clay Sublett.
