Mrs Barbara Alter, widow of the late Adam Alter, died at her home in Blairsville on January 2, aged ? years. She is survived by one son W P Alter of Derry Twp, Westmoreland county, and four daughters: Mrs H M Moore of Vandergrift; Mrs R Williams of Chicor; Miss's Lucy and Hannah Alter, at home. Funeral services were held in the Lutheran church at Blairsville and were conducted by Rev O Sanders Interment was made in Blairsville cemetery.
