Thanks to Find A Grave contributor Patsy Pearce for the following:
Bessie Rowbottom, a sister to my husband's grandmother, was traveling with her family on their way to Canada with wagons and cattle to settle in the Calgary area. On the way, while passing through Yellow Stone Bessie became sick and died. The family sent one of her older brothers back to Wyoming to get the small white headstone that is now on her grave. The family later returned to Wyoming.
