Helen Ann Barta, 90, was a longtime resident of Scappoose until 2008 when she moved to Beaverton. Helen was married for 65 years to Joseph C. Barta.
Helen was survived by her brother, seven daughters, one son, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; and daughter, Joanie.
A Mass of Christian Burial and reception was held on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Scappoose, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen's name may be made to Providence Child Center Foundation. Columbia Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
