Joseph 1702-1761 Westerley, RI., Joseph 1661-1706 [FAG #31757082], Westerley, RI., Capt James 1627-1709 [FAG #31757205](of Watertown MA.; Sudbury, MA.; Portsmouth, NH.; Stonington, CT.; Westerly, RI.)] was born at Westerly, RI., 26-May-1760. She married at Hopkinton, RI., 24-Apr-1779, Willett Clarke [sic] {Clark} (Hop. Rec.) son of Rev. Joshua and Hannah Cottrell-Clarke [sic] {Clark}. He was born 20-Oct-1759. No record of their children has come to light, but some of them settled in Niagara Co., NY., where they gave the name Pendleton to the town in which they located. Among the Clarkes [sic] {Clarks}who appear upon the Probate records of that county, the following three were probably children of Willett and Sarah Pendleton Clark.
