William O. "Bill" Pearce passed away at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center at the age of 81. He was born to Earl A. and Eva Folsum Pearce and had lived in Reno since 1965 after residing in California. He was the Founder of Bill Pearce Honda in Reno, NV and had been an auto retailer since 1946 and a auto dealer since 1974.
He was a charter member of the Mt Rose Lions club, past president of the Franchised Auto Dealers Association, board member of the National Automobile Dealer's Association, on the board of directors for the Salvation Army and the Better Business Bureau.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Sandra K. Raffealli of Reno; brother, Samuel F. Pearce of Bozeman, MT; three grandchildren: Lydia Ann Raffealli of Charlotte, NC; and Clarissa Iris Pearce and Miranda Jane Pearce of Bellingham, WA; son-in-law John L. Raffealli of Reno; daughter-in-law Pam Pearce of Bellingham, WA; and companion Dawn Miller of Reno. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Fleming Pearce on Oct. 14, 1994 and his son, Roger Brian Pearce passed on Dec. 28, 1997.
