Linda passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 with her loving husband of 49 years, Jimmie, by her side. She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Davis; mother, May Ausbon; son, Don D. Davis and wife Cynthia; granddaughter, Rebecca Lee Davis; brothers, Lonnie J Cox and wife Nancy, and Larry Cox and wife Atitus; long time friend, Elizabeth Parker; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded by her father, Carl Cox; sister, Marion Lee Scott; and brother, Jerry Cox. Visitation for Linda will be Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Williams from 6 - 8 PM. Service will be Monday, August 6, 2012 in Williams Memorial Chapel at 10:30 AM with interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
