Mrs. Mary Busch-Bogner of Masury, OH passed away early Thursday morning July 26, 2012 at UPMC Horizon Farrell Campus. She was 97 years old.
She was born on August 9, 1914 in Owendale, MI the daughter Wendlin and Rosalie (Gearhart) Busch.
Mary and her husband Frank Bogner were married on June 30, 1934 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Sharon, PA by Fr. Harlen Davis. Together they would share fifty-nine years of marriage and their three beloved children James, Robert, and Nancy before his passing on July 26, 1993.
Mrs. Bogner was a longtime member of St. Bernadette Church in Masury, OH where she had been an active member of the Alter and Rosary Guild and former member of the Women's Club. She had also been a member of the Polish National Alliance, the PNA Bowling League, the Flying Pins mixed league, and had enjoyed playing cards with the Hilltoppers Card Club.
She will be sadly missed by her sons James Bogner and his wife Christine of Cleveland, OH, and Robert Bogner and his wife Sally of McDonald, OH; her daughter Nancy Yonchak and her husband Richard of Brookfield, OH; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, and three brothers Anthony, Joseph, and John Busch.
Friends may call from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Sunday July 29, 2012 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel 6923 Warren-Sharon Road Brookfield, OH 44403 (330) 448-6969. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00PM immediately following calling hours.
Closing prayers will begin at 12:15PM at the funeral home on Monday afternoon to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 1:00 PM at St. Thomas the Apostle (St. Bernadette) in Masury, OH with the Rev. Frank Zanni as Celebrant.
Burial will take place with her husband at St. Rose Cemetery in Hermitage, PA.
